        ○ This initiative aims to enhance collaboration on key areas such as ensuring and diversifying reliable supply chains, as well as the recovery and re-processing of critical minerals from electronic waste (e-waste).

Quadrilateral Security Dialogue (QUAD)

 ● Members: India, Australia, Japan, and the USA.  
  ● Timeline:  
    ● 2004: Initiated from Tsunami relief efforts, promoting cooperation among the four countries.  
    ● 2007: Japan formalized the group; the first Quad meeting took place during the ASEAN Regional Forum.  
    ● 2017: Conducted the first official discussions in the Philippines during the East Asia Summit.  
    ● 2022: Announced guidelines for the 'Quad Partnership on Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief (HADR) in the Indo-Pacific' in Tokyo.  
  ● Objective: To act as a force for global good, supporting an open, free, and inclusive Indo-Pacific that is prosperous and resilient.  
  ● Working Mechanism: The QUAD advances its agenda through six leader-level working groups focusing on Climate, Critical and Emerging Technologies, Cyber, Health Security Partnership, Infrastructure, and Space.
