● Kananaskis Wildfire Charter: Embraces a "whole of society" strategy, integrating Indigenous knowledge, sustainable forest management, and awareness campaigns (supported by India).
● G7 Critical Minerals Action Plan: Aims to ensure sustainable and resilient supply chains for critical minerals.
● Key Initiatives on Artificial Intelligence (AI): Includes the G7 GovAI Grand Challenge and the establishment of a shared G7 AI Network (GAIN).

● Supply Chain Diversification: Initiatives like the G7 PGII (initiated in 2007) and IMEC aim to diversify supply chains.

Group of Seven (G7)

● Russia's Membership: Joined in 1998, making it the G8 until 2014. Suspended following the annexation of Crimea in March 2014.
● European Union: Not a G7 member but actively participates in the annual summit.
● Working Mechanism: The G7 does not have a permanent structure; the rotating Presidency determines the agenda each year.
● Purpose and Agenda: Convenes annually to discuss significant global issues, including global economic governance, international security, and energy policy.
