‘Himalayan Blunder’

Mahatma Gandhi gave this statement in relation to the violence that happened during the ‘Chauri Chaura incident’ in 1922.

He called the incident a ‘Himalayan Blunder’ and called for adequate discipline and restraint on the part of the people.

महात्मा गांधी ने यह बयान 1922 में ‘चौरी चौरा घटना’ के दौरान हुई हिंसा के संबंध में दिया था।
