What is UPSC Mains Test Series 2026 / 2027 (Mains + Essay Test Series) by Synopsis IAS?

APPROACH FOR MAINS TEST SERIES (GS AND ESSAY)

Although the pattern of UPSC Mains exam is very dynamic, it still adheres to the basics. Syllabus and Previous Year Question papers are the key to maximize score in GS and in Essay. Therefore, Mock Test papers are designed based on the exact UPSC pattern.

Objective of the Test Series:

  • To get 1-2 extra marks in each question.
  • To get 10+ extra marks in each essay.
  • Qualify Language Papers without any difficulty.

TWO LEVEL APPROACH

Level 1: Mains Answer Writing Building

Mains Answer Building (MAB) enables candidates to develop the sense of answer writing and enriching the content.

  • To learn how to build an enriched answer/essay.
  • Time limit: Not applicable.
  • Based on syllabus and previous year question papers. (1979-2023)
  • Candidates will get access to full Mains Answer Building Course of Synopsis IAS, which contains solutions for UPSC Mains Previous Year Questions. This course is conducted in Online Manner.

Level 2: Writing the Mains Tests

Level 2 tests candidates with different difficulty levels (E, M, D, V). So that they can simulate the UPSC exam in real sense, understand the demand of the exam and develop effective writing skills.

  • Actual exam mode answer writing / essay writing.
  • Time limit: 7 minutes/10 marks, 11 minutes/15 marks, 85 minutes/essay.
  • GS: 24 tests.
  • Essay: 6 full length essay tests.
  • Optional: 12 full length optional tests.
  • Candidates will upload Answer Copy for Level 2.
